Cristo Rey Network

A member of the Cristo Rey Network® of Schools, Cristo Rey Jesuit Seattle is endorsed by the Western Province of the Society of Jesus. We are also a member of the Jesuit Schools Network. We are one of many Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Seattle and will be accredited through Cognia. CRJS will be the 40th school in the Cristo Rey Network.

The Cristo Rey Network is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2000 to increase the number of schools modeled after Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago, which was founded in 1996 by John P. Foley, S.J to prepare youth from low-income families for post-secondary educational opportunities. Schools within the Network integrate four years of college preparatory academics with continuous professional work experience that pays most of the cost of a student's education.
