Tuition and Scholarships
Every CRJS student receives generous scholarships, making tuition affordable. Families pay between $40 to $250/month ($400 to $2,500/annually). The total cost of education is supplemented by the student’s Corporate Work Study earnings and the support of generous donors!
What does a Cristo Rey Jesuit Seattle education actually cost?
The actual cost to educate a student at Cristo Rey Jesuit Seattle is $36,757 per year. Families are asked to contribute only a modest portion of that cost, based on their financial circumstances, typically between $400 and $2,500 annually or between $40 and $250 per month.
Students earn a significant portion of the cost of their education through our Corporate Work Study Program. The remaining cost is covered by scholarships and financial aid funded by our generous donors. Their support ensures students can access a college-preparatory education regardless of their ability to pay.
Tuition Breakdown: What Covers the Cost of a CRJS Education?

The Corporate Work Study program places students in entry-level corporate jobs at area partner businesses and non-profit organizations, where they work 5 days each month, gaining professional work experience and developing life skills.
Families make an affordable “family contribution” toward tuition of $40 - $250 per month for 10 months ($400 - $2500 annually). We use Clarity to determine financial eligibility based on the information shared in the financial eligibility application, including assets, income, expenses, household size, and debts. All families must complete a financial determination application as part of the admission process. Every possible effort will be made to make a CRJS education affordable to those who qualify and wish to attend.Questions? Call 206-688-2108.
To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity application is mobile-friendly so that you can complete it from anywhere. You can also save your progress and return at any time. CRJS applicants do not have to pay the Clarity application fee; please email the admissions team at admissions@cristoreyseattle.org to request a waiver code.
Please remember to return to your dashboard after you submit your Clarity application, as CRJS requires you to upload additional tax documentation, including:
- A copy of this year’s tax return (Form 1040)
- Most recent W-2s for all jobs held by contributing adults in the household
- Proof of other forms of income (if applicable)
