CRJS Welcomes Founding Principal Dr. Guy

Dr. Guy will join CRJS after a tremendously successful tenure at the Explore Charter School network in New York City. Following four years as principal, Dr. Guy was promoted to managing director of schools and programs. In this capacity, she oversaw eight public charter schools for underrepresented students.

After receiving a BA in Biology and MA in Education with an emphasis on STEM at Pepperdine, Dr. Guy earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership for Social Justice at Loyola Marymount, the Jesuit university of Los Angeles.

Nadia was director of STEM for a charter school comprised of 20 school sites in California. In NYC, she supervised the senior director of STEM for the Explore Charter Schools.

Says Dr. Guy of her appointment as founding principal of CRJS, “I am so excited to join Cristo Rey Seattle as the Founding Principal because this is an opportunity to cultivate a culture of excellence for the upcoming generation of social justice champions in Seattle. Being a part of the Cristo Rey Network is an immense honor. Not only does this Network offer students the chance to attain a rigorous, college-preparatory, Jesuit education, but it also provides them with four years of invaluable work experience. I am inspired and humbled to work alongside such dedicated people.”

Welcome to CRJS Nadia!
