Introducing the CWS Board

Our integrated academic and CWS experience is widely recognized as a critical and unique component of a Cristo Rey education. Volunteer members of the Corporate Work Study Board engage with CRJS in securing Corporate Partners to support the work study program. Having a variety of job placements available to students keeps the program vibrant and rewarding for both the student and our corporate partners. 

Through the CWS program, students earn approximately half the cost of their private education. In addition, the CWS program will give businesses in Seattle the opportunity to partner with CRJS to provide an equitable, collaborative, college-ready education while transforming the talent pipeline.   

CWS Board members connect CWS staff to their employers and networks to create a pipeline of corporate partners who provide students with mentorship and real jobs for real pay. The Board is also responsible for developing pathways for future CWS Board members and corporate connections to future student jobs.
