Roller Skating and Gardening
Join us as we welcome two new CRJS founding team members: Mike Hall, Director of Finance and Operations, and Rebecca Nuffer, Associate Advancement Director.
Mike brings a 30-year background in operations and finance across a variety of industries. As a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, MO, Mike began his profession in the sports industry working for Burton Snowboards and Ride Snowboards. Since then, Mike has worked in optics, home goods, hydration, and the medical industries, where his primary focus has been on operational and financial management. Mike is fluent in Spanish, has lived in Seattle for over 30 years, and is married to a lifelong educator. They have two children.
When Mike is not spending time with his family, there is a good chance he is doing something outdoors. Born in Minnesota, Mike is accustomed to the snow and loves seeking the fresh powder of Alpental, Crystal Mountain, or Stevens Pass to snowboard. When the weather isn’t cooperating, you’ll find him on roller skates at Southgate, Lynnwood, or El Centro roller rinks.
With over 12 years of experience helping organizations connect their missions to their communities, Rebecca is a dedicated fundraising champion. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, her creativity lends itself to crafting strategic communications, event planning, and community building.
In Rebecca’s family of educators, dinnertime conversation was often centered around challenges in equal access to education. Joining the founding team at Cristo Rey Jesuit Seattle to help launch learning opportunities for those who need it most, felt like an extension of home. On the weekends, her passion for home renovation and gardening keeps her busy. Rebecca loves exploring local beaches with her husband and young son, trying new restaurants, and curling up on the couch with a new book or podcast.
Mike and Rebecca’s talents will strengthen our team as we continue to develop an innovative and long-lasting education program for deserving students in south Seattle.
