Vatican Approves Lease/Purchase of St. Paul’s School Property!

In August 2024, our founding students and benefactors took a leap of faith in Cristo Rey Jesuit Seattle High School, believing in the promise of superb Jesuit academics, faith formation, and the unique Cristo Rey professional work experience.

The Vatican’s recent approval of our lease and purchase of St. Paul’s school property (including the Convent and Rectory) gives the green light to the construction of the Norcliffe Academic Center and a complete remodel of the original Manresa Building.

The Norcliffe Center will open just as our first students, the brave and brilliant CRJS Class of 2028, begin their senior year in August of 2027. This milestone would not have been possible without the generosity, faith, and unwavering commitment of our benefactors, Board members, professional partners, volunteers, and supporters. Thank you!

Our faculty and staff have created a vibrant, joyful, deeply Ignatian school, creating a campus culture that will serve students for generations to come. Now, we are building our “forever home” in Rainier Beach. We stand in awe of what God and all of you have done in the name of Cristo Rey!
